A poor display against a poorer team who wanted to win, our team im afraid does not have self belief as was clear to see, we have a CLASS striker in Macken but yet he cannot perform, im sorry but if we stick with davey for another 6 matches it will be too late to repair the damage he is doing to OUR club, there is simply no excuses for him now and if we get beaten on Tuesday i fully expect him to go otherwise Cryne in my eyes will have been both the saviour of the club and the villan if he lets Davey keep his job. Davey showed no passion on the sideline whilst his opposite number was constantley pushing and talking to his players. It seems to me that the players are not giving a 100% for Davey which also seems to be echoed in their football. At the risk of getting Lynched i hope we do get stuffed on Tuesday and then at least the damage caused by Davey will not be irreparable by a new coach before its too late, the press meeting on Tuesday will be very interesting..
To be fair to SD We have played six games and only two of those have been at home - one of those we managed to win. I'm not neccesarily "pro Davey" BTW, quite the opposite....
Well said!!!! Spent more than £100 today taking wife and son to watch the same predictable performance with the usual excuses from Davey!!!! It hurts like hell and i'm sure other loyal fans will feel the same. Its time for a change and the sooner the better!
We have played almost two years under Simon Davey and seen no improvement aart from the odd blip on the radar where he gets lucky.
Disagree on one point I think the players are putting 100% in - just look at how they put bodies in the way on the line etc. That's not the problem. The problem is we don't look like scoring. We had one good chance in the first half and other than the penalty shout in the second half, we looked poor in front of goal.
Agree totally with all that. Davey clearly has lost the dressing room with his arrogant style of management and his stupid tactics. Certain players yesterday didn't seem to give 100% to me and it's time for Davey to go. That said I don't think I'd give 100% if I'd to play in the same side as El Haimour. Worst player I've seen in many a year.
Davey said we will go with what we have! Doesnt look like we have what we need though! Sorry time for a change - away performances were mentioned that they need to be improved - have they yet?
So we revert to the Manager a year programme. We need stability. Gordon (and most on here) did't want to stick with Ritchie. Bfore that it was Hart 'must go'. etc. etc.
RE: So we revert You're absolutely right of course. 28 points from our last 31 league fixtures. What fantastic stability. Wake up and smell the coffee.
Xerxes at what point does the club bring about the changes? Based upon what you have said, I presume we continue with Davey because we have not selected a good manager on the last two occasions prior to him. Are you also saying that those who wanted rid of Hart and Ritchie were wrong. You surely must have the answers then. How would you approach Davey and advise him we need to go forward not backwards. If after your advice to him he still did'nt listen what action would you take?
So to get Stability we Have to get relegated!!! For christs sake lets bite the bullet and change the record, Yes we need stability with a manager but by6letting Davey run the show we will go down. Its clear to see that he is not a manager at rthis level and WHY THE HELL should we let him "cut his teeth" as a amanager at the detriment of OUR club.
