Just got back brief err ... match report

Lets keep this short

We were very poor today - the team spirit that has been keeping us going has disappeared. most of the players werent up for it at all, and completely lacking in confidence. I guess the events of the last week didnt help.

Palace were poor but so much better than us it was embarrasing - it was so bad even the ref started giving the 50:50 decisions our way.

We could easily have been 4 or 5 down at half time but for some finishing of the quality we have been used to at the other end

second half was less bad probably as Palace sat back a bit and took off one of their better players but really nothing to write home about

Apparantly com said we deserved our money back - must say I agree best bit was pub before and after the game. Palace fans are a good bunch though.

Colgan - didnt do anything wrong some decent saves no fault for the goals 7
Hassell - dont think he was fit given the run around by their left wing 5
Hecky - one of the few players who tried his hardest but still not great 6
Reid - didnt seem up to for it 4
Kay - best defender by a distance one of the few to give 100% 7
Devaney - think he played but not sure 4
Togwell - not one of his better games 6
Howard - worst I have seen him play not 5
Mcindoe - MOTM easily! tried to carry the midfield single handed 8
Wright - performed to his usual standard 4
Nardi - never in the game - not helped by no service but very disappointing 5

Hayes - no improvement on Wright
Wroe - big improvement on Devaney probably should start next match

 

RE: palace were crap . we were worse

Nardiello didn't miss any chances cos there werent any - I think Devaney had our only real chance and hit row Z

And seriously Wroe actually looked half decent
