Cannot see them understanding tickets being on sale for the match for like a month and someone not finding a little bit of time to go down or at least get someone to go down on there behalf.

The website is stating that under no circumstances will Barnsley fans be able to buy tickets today.

I don't understand why he's complaining anyway, he doesn't go to barnsley home games

He's told me that he sit's in 'the chaddy end' which is presumably at Oldham. Would explain why he knows all their rumous too.

I would love him to be able to go but the club will have sent back the tickets yesterday and would probably think how i wrote the previous post.

So we have a printing machine on our premises for the home tickets to be made then? We don't get them printed and then delivered to us?

    Yes, that's exactly what happens.

23,000 match tickets with the match details and seat numbers on are all printed by the ticket manufacturers for every home game and then when we only sell 8,000 the remaining 15,000 are all sent back to have the match date removed and reprinted with the next match on.

Or of course the club could just buy blank tickets (with the BFC background detail on) in bulk and then print them the match details on at the Box Office when you buy one. Nah, that'd be daft, it's obviously the first option. We send them all back every saturday night and ask for them to be altered for next week.

    To be fair

When they have made a match all-ticket, presumably on the advice of the police as well for this one, you don't sell tickets on the day even for the home areas as away fans could then buy on the day in home areas

    you're right of course

well not without special reason or rules anyway. I just can't believe that anybody could be so thick as to think that we order in 23,000 pre printed tickets for every home game and then send 15,000 back every week.
