Definitely recommend both if you get chance.

Excellent places to visit, lots of cultural things there, shopping, historical buildings and places to chill out!

Can't speak highly enough of Japan or the Japanese at the minute!

    i gotta agree with yer......

fantastic country and people.... well different and interesting... I'll go back again some day.....

We drove out to a small town, Iberaki, to the Ireland v Germany world cup match... It was an Irish invasion... all dressups in green... It was very frindly and the locals loved it were so proud that it had come to their town... They brought out a mobile Shinto Shrine which was borne by about fifty irishmen. The dancing thousands went all around the ground.... great craic.

Top class people the japanese....................(just don't mention the xxx)

Just got back from 2 weeks driving round Kyushu....

Weather was a bit crap though, wasn't it? Wouldn't recommend anyone going there in the summer. Spring or Autumn definitely the time to go!

Would love to go, will do one day. How does it compare price wise to over here, food, ale, transport, shopping etc?
