Just got back from Oakwell

Makes me laugh when everyone is like 'don't panic' just bin down and they have sold 4500 and not letting anyone else join the Q. There must have been 400 people still in the Q. They are now giving vouchers for us to go back in the morning and there is a small chance we may get a ticket. But doubt it if 4500 had already gone then with all those people left they will each be at least getting 2 and a lot of them said they had other peoples books. Madness, I am really annoyed should be one per season ticket holder. Some chump I work with who has been once this years gets to go as he is the plus one, bloody stupid. I have just rang my hubbie and I was neearly crying that mad would have loved to have gone. Just having a bottle of stella to sort me out!

Well I am not a liar thanks, just bin down and thats what the offical lady from the club said on the gates handing out the vouchers, just to clarify, people have been queing up with 15 or 20 season tickets on some occasions and getting several tickets. Why would I need to lie and why would I? I was there at 3.45 and that was the situation. I have a voucher but no point, the few that may be left will go straight away in the morning unless u get there at 4am or some stupid time. Makes me laugh I hardly come on here and people acuse u of telling lies.

4 at the most... thats an average family set..... 20 is down right selfish ...and I can guess where most of them buggers will be ending up....E-Bay.
Well the club oughta monitor E-Bay and if any do pop up there they should nullify them and ban the B a s t a r d s concerned for eternity

Doubt they'd be on ebay, people are just getting em for their mates who haven't got ST's.
You can't put footy tickets on e-bay anyway

 

woudnt suprise me prople are gettin 20 and 30 tickets at a time there was 900 gone at 10.15 when we asked

Well thats what they said, a crap system for everyone really. Feel for all the kids with their parents as well that were behind me that were told to come back tomrrow, they were really upset feel for everyone that cannot go! Think the club should strongly think of another way of doing this in the future. Bedlam!

 

I read somewhere on here that putting the footie tickets on eBay is illegal. I don't have a season ticket, so I can't read the smallprint, so I'm hoping someone here can tell me.

whys it selfish they are ST holders and most prob work so they need prioity to get one and have used there brains and got someone to queue for them?

crazy system - if they'd said one per st there wouldn't have been the queuing. There would have been a steady stream of people knowing that they'd more than likely get a ticket As it is they've whipped up a frenzy. half the st holders get their dabs on all the tickets. And folk nicely duped for the colchester match too!

 

Yes I feel a tad for the people who went to the colchester game hoping they would get a ticket, there will be loads of letters in chron on fridaty about the tickets fiasco
