If he didn't like it then he should come for it more often and play it from the back. If he did this fans would be behind him more.
Yes a bad day for us fans, but when we think that all hope is lost and we are so disappointed. How often the next match the reds come out and restore our hopes. We will stop up, first time i have ever said that this season. And i actually believe myself.
I Wish I could feel as confident as you but after todays dreadful display I really worry about the remainder of the season.Thought Colgan should have saved 1st Goal but couln't be faulted for the rest. Time to see what David Lucas is made of!
Easy for you to say numbnut. Fact is that if it wasn't was Colgan we would have lost by a much greater margin today. He simply wasn't to blame for the goals today and got some criticism that simply wasn't justified.
Just back, mixed reactions really, today's display awful but the players were clearly tired from Plymouth and had only 1 day to prepare so I'm not going to personally be too harsh on anyone. Cov also flying high under Dowie and their players giving it their all. They also had the front three from hell for us - one brick outhouse and two flying machines alongside. I just feel this is going to end in heroic failure and we'll go down because of our goal difference or something. None of today's back 4+goalie, except Nyatanga, inspire any confidence and rather than focusing on any one of them I think we just have to accept that collectively Reid, Austin, Heckingbottom and Colgan are not good enough at this level. We have, in my view, only two defenders who can cut it at this level in Nyatanga and Hassell (on form), with possibly Kay, if his mind's right. If we go down, the failure to strengthen with proven defenders/keeper at this level will be the reason. Proof - read our goals against column.
