Absolute garbage - those barnsley players were payed thousands between them and gave us that - well happy new year to you too boys! 2-2 and we got out of jail. was a definate pen as were the other 2 handballs that the ref dismissed. their 1st goal was not even a free kick in the build up. Odejayi and Mostto cost 600k between them, I would have rather spent all of that on Macken at the start of the season. Coulson tried his best and you cannot knock his effort. his ability though, is somewhat questionable at this level.

Glanford Park is a joke - I have played at better grounds that that never mind visited at championship level. Scunny as a team are clearly punching above their weight and WILL be relegated this season, the scary thing is that in the 1st half especially, they looked the better side!

Come on Simon, clear out the ***** and spend wisely. I will be interesting to see both the attendance and the starting XI on saturday.

I Found The Ground To Be Alright

Good view and it's nice being in a ground that's pretty full and not below half empty. Can't complain with parking right outside the stand for two quid and also plenty of drinking/eating places around. Only took an hour as well to get there. Best away day out since Charlton.

    Confession about Scunny ground

I once nicked one of those "second skin" plasters from the refs room there! Was playing in a charity game, and as the only lass involved they gave me the refs room. At half time I had blisters all over my feet, and well the treatment stuff was just there! Nice pitch to play on but a definite slope - which was odd for a brand new ground.

    1st half was a disgrace

Stood in their end and it wasn't pretty from there. Second to everything and they should have been out of sight by half time.

Second half was a different game altogether. Full credit to Davey for taking the bull by the horns and changing the game. Southampton did it to us and we have now done it to Scunny.

They sat off us and allowed us to play and we got more and more into it. Credit has to go to Michael Coulson who gave us a bit of edge up front. I was surprised when he came on (but not surprised when ferneczi went off who was crap) but he more than justified it. I'd like to see him given more of a chance if he can play with that commitment and sharpness all the time. Well done lad.

I hope Nyatanga is OK and will be a big miss although it now allows Foster to go into the centre where I think he will be best. Bruma is not a left back but could make a pretty good right back from what I've seen.

We need a left back (assuming Werling and Kozluk leave) and a couple of centre forwards.

I hope that wasn't the last time I see Muller an Howard in a reds shirt (I can't go for a couple of weeks).
