Players couldn't be arsed - so don't see why I should!

Worst we've played this season (except possibly at Colchester). Noone could be bothered, they wanted it more than us, obvious after 20 mins that Burns should be on but had to wait til 20 mins from end. Will Wright ever score? Perhaps we want the TV money more when we play Forest. At least we only had a 45 mins journey home!

Listening to it on the radio was a bad experience Bob I can tell you. Glad I didn't go now.

The away support for the Team is always fantastic.

I fear now for the rest of the season.

    Ritchie's tactics will cost us.

I cannot see anything to change my mind on that.

Yeah. You were right. The team that played the first half at Port Vale turned up (with some strange changes).

Why the hell didn't Ritchie substitute Kell?

What was he trying to prove?

Did our strikers look at all as if they were trying or did they come close to scoring?

Didn't sound as if they did on the radio.

Derrick Parker and Paul Walker couldn't believe how undeniably bad we were.

and Ritchie's tactics and changes forced us to be put under even more pressure.

    It was laughable really.

    If not embarassing.

It was totally obvious after about 10 mins that Kell was out of his depth and should have been replaced by Burns but we had to wait until 20 mins from end before he did. Walsall made two substitutions at half time - I think tactical - why do we never do that?

I'm beginning to wonder if Wright will ever score. One on one with the keeper again and fluffed it. Hayes just seemed slow and uninterested. Devaney ran about a lot but hardly beat a player. No-one seemed to want to get a foot in - just let them control midfield and when we did get the ball tried hoofing it up field to one of their men. We finished with 4 strikers on the pitch and it looked an absolute shambles. Don't think they'd have scored if there had been another half hour.

There - from me - the eternal optimist!
