Just got back home from the match

it was real fun driving back to Wales in all that weather...and the efforts of what we laughingly call Barnsley football team did not help.First let me say I thought Devaney worked his nuts off, Hassell was trying too oh and I lay no blame with young Atkinson as I think the kid was a bit overwhelmed by the whole thing.....now the rest of them

well words fail really to expose my complete and utter disgust, this was not just a game we needed to help survival but also a local derby,I do not think one of them actually had one thought for either...they totally let down every man, woman and Child who follow Barnsley. Now Mr Shepherd... on the Radio it was said he made the remark..."ooh look at that crowd innit wonderful" (or words to that effect) is that all today means to you Gordon...does the word PRIDE even compute in your mind........no thought not. Well yes that crowd was wonderful, remember it well..and remember it well when we are slumming it in the lower league next year ,with season ticket sales of less than 2 or 3 thou...and gates around the 5k mark.....yes the memory will really pay the bills then. Unless heads are removed from arses and serious investment on the player front is done then oblivion beckons......finally, I listened to the affair at Bramhall Lane on my car radio while driving home.....that is what is meant by Pride and Passion Gordon, maybe you could sit the full playing staff ....well in fact the full staff .... at Barnsley Football Club to watch the video of that and maybe , just maybe, they may get a hint of what PRIDE..PASSION...OH AND BACKBONE..actually mean.

as I said , with the exception of the 3 I first mentioned, the team totally let down every Barnsley fan today 1000000%... the lads and lasses on the terrace saw it first hand...I do not need to go into detail....but I will say this,
Sheffield Wednesday must be ***** ...as a good side would have made Double figures in the goal tally today playing against such an Inept outfit as we have become.

 

Just a note to those posters who question Dragon Tyke's support for the team

He makes this journey every time we're at home . I only wish the pathetic inverterbrates who had the honour to wear the shirt of Barnsley today had 10% of DT's love , passion , commitment and affection for our great club that he has .
Sadly , they have proved again today that they haven't.
