What a fantastic game! Dead and Buried Win 3-2 Funniest bit was all the Hull fans singing "You're going down with the Wednesday!" in the first half and then not liking it one bit when we returned the compliment. A terrific battling performance from the Reds who never know when they are beaten, this, after being run ragged in the first half. Well done Reds ! Terrific entertainment and some more sparkling fotball. We looked fitter, sharper, slicker to the ball in the second half and Hull never knew what hit 'em ! A sweet night for me as Wednesday lost and Owl has gone to bed to obviously avoid seeing me and hearing my celebrations. So soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sweet!(dancin) (dancin) (dancin)
I actually thought we were playing well in the first half. We should have had three goals. One cleared off the line and Hayes and Richards missed sitters.
Maybe I'm thinking of how we flagged after the 2 goal spell It knocked the stuffing out of us and for a while we struggled to get back into the game. We did though and then there was only one team in it! Even Derrick Parker was impressed as I listened in to Radio Sheff commentary whilst watching the game. You can pick it up clearly in Hull

There is a GREAT team spirit with this Barnsley team and Andy Ritchie must take great credit for that. The current team want to play for the club and are proud to wear the Red shirt, and it is a while since I could say that!!
Sounds like a blinder. I was reminiscing tonight about coming from behind 3 times to win 4-3 at Hull in the 80's (Chandler hat-trick and Duggan after catching the ball, if memory serves). But I might be making the whole thing up. It's been one of those evenings. Anyway, time for bed.
