First things first, well done Tommy Wright, didn't have an outstanding game but did a good job and I don't think anyone could have any major complaints with him tonight. Strength in depth is what let us down again, for 65 minutes we were bar far the better side, using Wright well while still playing good football, yet when the midfield started to tire, where were the replacements? Answer is we haven't got any! There goals (in the first half) would have been blocked by a bfc player, but in the second half the players just didn't have the energy to keep up the pressure. Our first XI is more than good enough to stay up, our squad will definately get us relegated. I can't fault the players tonight, they were fantastic for two thirds of the game, but its the first time I've started to question Ritchie because he's chose to stick with the players on the bench, who aren't good enough! As for Marc Richards' miss, he might work hard and build up play well, but that won't keep us in the division, his time is up! P.S Paul Hayes can f*ck off to Southend for what can only be called the laziest 15 minute display I have ever seen!
Same here Very pleased by the players effort, an clapped 'em off at the end (while making the odd childish gesture at Derby fans...) I think I wor sat in front on the unofficial Tommy Wright fan club an all.
RE: Same here As profesionals they must be praying Ritchie brings in some players just so they can give there all for 60 minutes knowing they can be replaced when tired for someone of equal ability? Sorry, but Brian Howard with one leg is better than nicky Wroe (has anyone else noticed he doesn't have a right foot lately)
