Well, Watford helped the cause somewhat by being crap but the Reds were awesome tonight. They defended like demons again, the midfield looked good going forward and the forward line played like a forward line, not two strangers! Kayode was incredible after his customary misses. The second one especially should have been buried (first half blast over the bar when clean through) but what a second half. His tap in was a gift but his second goal was sheer determination and aggression with a shot that nearly broke the net to finish. Hard to pick out a man of the match. Keeper was faultless, all the defender superb with Foster's header perfectly timed straight after half time. Leon was all tricks, flicks and showboating, but what the heck - he is a FOOTBALLER! Hassel did a good defensive midfield job and JCR terrorised defenders as usual. Macken held the ball up well without threatening a goal but a good game anyway. KO was a star, a real star, and he deserved his standing ovation from the whole ground when he went off, and he took a bow on his own at the end. The Watford crowd were quiet from the start; promotion prospects - do me a favour! People complain quite rightly about lack of Oakwell atmosphere sometimes, but Vicarage Road was well named tonight. The vicar was at home for tea - that's about it. Well done boys - I was so proud to be a Barnsley fan tonight. And the Bristol City fan in front of me took almost as much delight in the performance as I did. Only 25 miles home for me and feeling very, very happy tonight....
RE: Wish I was there KO SHOULD go on to greater things now. He has the ability, he has the pace, he can hit the ball. He just needs a goal or three more to add to these four and we will see a very different Number Nine next season. Well done him. I don't care if he misses three but scores two
