We had enough chances but couldn't make em count. I suppose it doesn't help when your playing a useless striker on the wing and a "fox in the box" on the left!! The 2nd half we came out and sat back like sitting ducks, inviting them on us which eventually cost us the game!
I've just got back too. Great game, shame about result. Think the referee was dire, think that for most of the game we were good, when they came forward i thought Hassell and Foster coped well. JCR was great and could have won us the game. But when the 1st goal went it, it was obvious it wasnt going to be our day, because it was a blatant foul and he gave the advantage, (who to i'm not sure), and they scored from it.
I'll defend Odejayi Played well today in a strange position, trying to play a right midfield come centre forward and he played in some lovely balls.
yes odi played a right/left position but mostly on the right. Just read what it says on itv text page and they say barnsley looked set for a point and we were luckless.
His ball to Mostto for that volley was fantastic, if Deco had done it Jamie Rednapp would be licking his arse until crimbo.
Yep. Played well and I thought we wor t' better side in t' first 'aif.</p> Bit sluggish to start with second but managed to match them and certainly deserved a point. Can't really fault the players effort.</p> Sh*te/incompetent ref and linesman combo didn't really help matters. </p>
