Well i'm nt going to be too negative, just gunna say my opinions. I'm not too concerned about the defeat today, we never seem to get owt against Coventry, having said that, the performance was poor and nobody really stood out today as a good performer.

Davey made the right team selection even though i said to my brother before the game that i was suprised to see Kozluk instead of Potter. Luke Steele made a few errors and could be responsible for there first goal seen as the ball went over him, (ala Joe Ledley), however i think that Darren Moore did very little wrong in the build up for the free kick which was harshly given. Kozluk was very poor today, and has been throughout pre-season and at the start of the season. Definatly should have been sent off, two stupid tackles in the space of 5 minutes. Foster and Moore were solid at the back, but the defending was a bit lapse for the 2nd goal, even though if we hadn't had Campbell Ryce at full back, we might have dealt with it better.
Anderson had a shocking first half, but was marginally better in the second. Hammill and JCR were quiet and lost the ball on too many occasions. Bogdanovic struggled to get in the game and looked nackered at half time.

    ON THE POSITIVE SIDE
Not only was it great to see Iain Hume, but he actually played very well in the short space of time he had, and even created a few chances. We missed KO up front imho, because we didn't seem to have that ariel threat until he came on, at which point we had several half chances. Butterfield looked decent before he went off, he didn't seem as good as in the last few games but he's developing nicely. Sodje came on and was quite busy too, but he just lacked a little going forward.
Not too dissapointed, think we will bounce back in midweek, hopefully with Potter and Iceman in the team, but it will be difficult who to play up front as i think KO, Macken, Boggy and Humie are all in with a shout.

    COME ON YOUUUUU REDDDDDDSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a couple of points I disagree with......

Butterfield was awful, and Odejayi is just crap, Butterfield is going to be ok, Odejayi will be ok in League 1.

    One more from me.

Anderson was for me our best player in the first half and I thought he went missing in the 2nd.

He terrorises defences, we missed him today because there back four were as slow as ours and look how morrisson and best punished them. We won nothig in the air, and that because Macken likes the ball to feet and bogdanovic confessed himself that he's no good aerially.

KO does not terrorise defences mate. He makes himself a nuisance, but terrorise is too strong a word. He made a very good run when he came on, but continued to run the ball out of play which typifies his ability.

The flick on header attempt that went 20 yards back the way it came sumed up our overall performance.
