    I live in Shrewsbury. They were poor and the reds never looked troubled until 87th minute when they finally put a cross in. Both Winnall's goals were well taken after the defence opened up and invited him to shoot. Bree looked good at RB and CM looked settled. Davies had a great game - saved the pen and made a good reflex save in 1st half. 3 well-deserved points - onwards and upwards

    Thanks for that but your first line is contradicted by the penalty save and the reflex save in 1st half. Glad it was an enjoyable day and gave you the bragging rights with the locals.

    Realised that after I posted it. Even with the penalty and the the save, Shrewsbury never looked even close to beating us.

    Thought he fitted in well. I haven't seen Pearson play recently (saw him early in the season and the last loan spell) but he looked comfortable. Tried a couple of long shots but fitted in well with Hourihane.
