Agreed,todays game proves we haven't got the strength in depth when faced with injuries or suspensions.
To be fair to Kay hes played well this season and hopefully today was just a one off, but im afraid that McCann is not up to this league, we havent the luxury of time to bed in and find his feet at this level, we need players that can do a job, we were truly woeful today and its the first time i have ever left a game 10 mins early, at least its scuppered Davey's chances i feel, but if we get a bad result at Wolves i think we really are in trouble. We need 3 teams to be worse than us in this division or we are sunk.
We just need 3 to be worse than us! And to be honest Wednesday were no better than us, the difference was that they took the chances they got.
I don't go with that at all I thought they were by far the better team. We huffed and puffed at times but we didn't create anything.

What did Atkinson do wrong? Or McCann? I thought Atkinson did ok, Devaney played well and Nardiello didn't do too bad. But the rest of them, *****. Today proves why we need a new keeper, looking at Colgan and Crossley there's no comparison.

If we are to compete and stay in this league then players like these need to move on. The young lad Atkinson may proove to be a decent player, but the others mentioned are not good enough. They weren't good enough for the first division let alone this one. McCann also looks well of the pace. But lets not put the entire blame on to Davey, he only as to pick players that he as available, the blame should be put down to the previous manager or the board for not investing in some much much much needed quality players in the close season. A very very poor performance today, missing our midfielders and needing some quality defenders, and a bit more quality up front. Wednesday today exposed a glaring hole in our squad, a hole that know one seems to be able to rectify. Who ever is the manager next week he as one hell of a job. (N)
RE: I don't go with that at all Totally agree there mate. Wednesday were much hungrier and stronger than us, out played and out fought us. We were garbage, apart fron Devaney and Kay ( i know he sliped and let their player in for the goal) but he played well. (N)

Actually Atkinson could be a very very good player....but mix him with the ***** that we have, then it will rub off and he will be ruined.
