Awesome Day Out!!! Music to my ears hearing Simon Davey chanted in different ways, as it means he is doing a fantastic job. The whole atmosphere was electric at least in the away end. The cops were legends with the wisecracks Everyone had a top game and we never looked in any real bother. I am sure Mr Salako praised us on soccer saturday.
Mr Salako said nothing of the sort. Only mentioned the fans at 0-0 and said "both sets of fans are quiet and nervous", and spent the rest of the game saying "poor old Southend" and probably worrying about how it wasnt going to help Leeds, like the rest of them.

What A.......... bugger that is. But we are small club Barnsley so it wasn't too likely. The players didn't mess around coming off the motorway at Dodworth around 9:35. Must have been back on the team coach for like 5:30 latest.
