A very creditable performance by all 11! Played a 4-1-4-1 formation with Togwell between defence and midfield. Mostto ran his blood to water upfront on his own. Think these were the right tactics but could not understand why there was no change when we went behind. Firts sub was a straight swap for Mostto keeping the same formation. This was the only negative for me from our point of view. Going to complain to NUFC though as the PA wasnt switched on on the upper tier so couldnt hear a word of team announcements. The distance we were from pitch couldnt recognise players so had to text brother listening at home to confirm team. There was no announcement at all for our substitutes.

Werling and Mattis both played well IMO, particularly Werling.

    Werling - MoTM for me.

Never stopped wanting it, never stopped trying, never stopped believing we could do it....

I'm starting to feel a bit sorry for Werling

All the news has been about when Bruma will be coming back, but to be honest I'd be disappointed if Davey felt the need to drop Werling. I know he's only on loan and has looked a tad shaky in one or two outings but last night he not only gave us some great pace up the flank, but had another free kick opportunity and also put in his fair share of defending.

Ran rings around them, neat little flicks. Good free kick as well.

Werling played very well! Newcastle supporters I know wouldn't mind him in their team! Cant believe that a "better" team wont come in for him after his loan is completed. Mattis also looked OK he won the ball well but on occasions after winning it seemed a bit at a loss as to what to do with it!

It is Nyantanga on Loan until January. Werling has signed a contract. Believe me I know these things. I know I am a new forum member, but I have friends who have kicked the ball once or twice already for the super reds this season.
