Either Togwell or Johnson in

Both will give us extra physical presence against Cotterill's long ball team .

    I sincereley hope not.

McCann has not shown so far that he is anywhere near capable of playing there.

    He cant run for starters.

It has to be Togwell even though his passing isnt the best.

    McCann wasn't Awful

The whole team played well again but that last minute miss was a little unfortunate

new to the forum- read for a year - should have posted before now - been attending games for 35 years
went to the game today but sat in Charlton family end - also went to Southampton - over the two games I haven't seen Barnsley play with that much pride and determination since we went up to the the premiership - also got to say that it was lovely to hear just like watching Brazil being sung but at the same time as playing like them, especially away from home like that - long may it continue

    Cannot Grumble With A Point

If McCann hadn't have missed the sitter, we really would have stolen two points. You can see why they will be up there come May and that said, there's no reason why we shouldn't be either. We seemed to attack more when we went behind. I'd have liked to have seen us attack a little earlier. Disco HAS to start the next game without a doubt. He once again came on and made a difference. Glad to see Kim score his first goal. So for today........

    1. Barnsley get a point.
    2. England beat Australia.
    3. Lewis Hamilton on pole.

Devaney looks good, but who'd make way? You couldn't drop JCR on today's performance -he did very well, got really involved, took players on, tracked back and tackled, made a very effective contribution.

That would be down to the manager and not a easy decision to make. Disco came on and scored against Southampton the winner and Bristol City the third. Today he was unlucky his header was straight at the keeper, but it was 70 odd minutes gone and the first thing on target all afternoon. He also put in some great balls and he's got a great attitude.

    The question is though

Does Disco make such an impact because he attacks the player that JCR has worn down - fresh legs against someone given a hard time for 70 mins. Would he have the same impact if on from the start?

At the moment our midfield isnt broke so I'd leave well alone until it needs to be changed

Or could it be that Disco is our super sub in the Ole Gunnar whathisface mould?

Devaney is more effective playing his late cameo roles. Seem to get more out of him that way.
