I feel we were unlucky not to get a point.

Their goal, whilst it was well taken, fell to the lad very fortunately, so we were unlucky in that sense.

We didn't play badly overall, though had little upfront for most of the match. Nardiello gave the ball away far too much, however big STan just doesn't seem effective at all anymore.

Macken looked a class above the rest of the forwards when brought on, but everyone knows what he is capable off. Odejayi impressed in spells when he came on, but again didn't really look like he was going to score.

Would have liked to have seen JCR on to run at them a bit, could've caused problems, but the forced substitution affected us badly in midfield for a while. Hassell isn't won't ever be, a midfielder, and we looked weaker when de Silva had to go off on the stretcher.

Defended reasonably well, and Steele did ok...few good throws and one particularly good save stopped what seemed a certain goal.

Fans were brilliant, 'red army' sounded for ages, and backed we backed the lads really well for most of the game.

Overall, not a bad day out, despite the result, but felt a point would've been fair

Can't say I agree that we deserved anything. Davey showed his naievity again in picking the 'Anfield 11'. Whilst loyalty is an admirable trait, it doesn't keep you in the Championship. Leaving our best striker on the bench was a disgrace. Ferenczi just looks a shadow of the man we signed. I also think JCR has a lot more to offer than Leon, both in terms of workrate and attacking threat.

De Silva was the best player on the park until he got injured. He was limping really badly after the game, and I'm worried that could be the end of his season. It was all route one from then onwards.

Norwich looked a pretty mediocre side, and if we'd played our strongest team I'm sure we would have come away with more than a 1-0 defeat.

I agree with regards to JCR, Leon didn't really impress me again, didn't offer much, whereas JCR may have caused a lot more problems.

I still think we played well enough for a point though, I don't think they played better than us.
