Only played it a bit since getting it for Christmas but first impressions are its much quicker and certain features (team-talk, etc) have more effect (on morale, etc). I certainly think its a big improvement on 05 and I've got every version since the original Championship Manager so I've seen the various degrees of change in the past.

Managing Barnsley is less frustrating too, as now we're in the higher division again, expectation is much lower. At the end of October I was 18th in the league and Mr Shepherd announced he was delighted with my performance as manager as they'd made £350k in the month! Can't wait until I show him my dossiers on all the players!
