    1. Arrive Oakwell nice and early at 8.15. The coaches weren't organised and no one knew what they were doing. All it would have taken was one person from the club with a yellow bib and a megaphone to say something like "if you're on coaches 1-10 please come forward now" etc like when they board a plane. An absolute shambles. Finally left Oakwell at 10.10 on coach 59.

    2. Two ***** sat behind me on the coach who moaned literally from leaving Oakwell to arriving at Wembley. And all the way back.

    3. Traffic jam on M1. Not the club's fault. I blame Odejayi myself.

    4. Traffic into Wembley was horrendous. Took an hour to crawl about 500 yards. In the end everyone got off and walk the last mile or so.

    5. Cardiff City fans: one the whole, a bunch of tw@ts who thought nothing of throwing things and giving dogs abuse to small kids. A disgrace to fooball.

    6. Get to my seat at 15:50. Poor atmosphere and joy of joys, another **** sat behind me who was slating the team before we'd even kicked off. There's too many like that who follow the Reds with big gobs but small brains and no knowledge of football.

    7. The highlight of the day: a good performance from about the 10th minute to half time.

    8. Ferenczi: what a waste of space. I lost track of the number of times him and KO went for the same ball or attacked the same post. If I was Kim Christensen I'd be gobsmacked that KO and Ferenczi were ahead of me in the pecking order.

    9. Odejayi's miss: what can I say that has not already been said? He's fast and strong, but a footballer he's not. My gran could have done better and we cremated her 4 years ago. If Davey persists with him against Watford and Preston we should sack Davey, sell the club, players, and stadium and apologise to the FA for wasting their time because we're obviously not serious about playing football. Apparently Odejayi looked like he was going to cry on TV, if he'd had heard what was said about him on the coaches on the way home he'd still be roorin'. We need to cut our losses and get shut in the summer.

    10. Leaving Wembley: another traffic shambles and took over an hour to get back on the motorway. One highlight was seeing two groups of Cardiff fans start fighting each other, much to glee of the Met who took great pleasure in "restraining" them.

    11. Services swamped with Tarn fans all in a bad mood and an understaffed Burger King serving overpriced food (£6.19 for burger and chips!)

    12. Finally got back home at 12.40am this morning. Went to sleep and had a recurring dream where Odejayi missed that sitter over and over again.

A far cry from Wembley in 1999-2000 and Cardiff in 2006. Poor atmosphere and poor performance.

The cup's the cup, but look forward to League One football and the departure of our best players if we don't do something drastic with our strikers between now and Wednesday. I hope Coulson will make an impact, but he looked a bit lightweight to me but to be fair by the time he came on the team had packed it in mentally.

    One more thing:

Van Homoet: can't pass, can't cross, can't tackle, and always out of position.

If Davey has any sense he'll make sure Odejayi and Van Homoet are "accidentally" left behind at Watford Gap services when the team drives back up. Working for Burger King is more their level.

    RE: One more thing:

Totally agree about Van Homoet. What I couldnt understand is what seemed to be a main strategy of our other defenders to keep passing the ball to him for him to hoof it upfield (usually to a cardiff player!). Surely the rest of the team must have realised by now that he cant pass a ball to save his life. If we must play the long ball way, surely Foster or Kozluk should be doing the long "passes", not Marciano.

    I also never got

why on 3 or 4 occasions in the second half we insisted on booting the ball upfield for JCR to head on, seeing as he was the most heavily marked and smallest player on the pitch.
