well done lads, good point, could well have won the game with chances in 2nd half. I also feel we were denied at least one penalty by a very poor and one-sided referee.

2 great goals from Nardiello and a much improved 2nd half from Reid and Hassell, shame about the defending for both goals (though we should have been sat in the dressing room when they scored the second).

7 points in a week and looking good - YOOOOUUUUUUUUU REEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDSSSSSSSS

    agree with every word.

I thought he played more than the two minutes when they scored at the end of the first too. Ironically thought we played much better in the second without scoring
. Still don't rate Nardiello but can't fault his finishing, poor defending, but two quality goals. just for the record for someone who does not think Nardiello is a team player, I thought he worked very hard today and repaid Daveys faith in him. We started to play some nice football in the second half and created a few good chances. If anyone had offered me 7 out of nine points this week I would have snapped their hands off. Bearing in mind the players we had missing today it was a top effort. I think davey has got a decent team spirit developing here and if he keeps on with these results I have no pro blems with him having the job.

    It does say

"The referee adds a MINIMUM of" - it's not a definative amount.

Interesting the claim that he was favouring Leeds when he disallowed a goal for them that the commentators couldn't really see why.

I saw nowt wrong with Leeds's third

Nor did the ref but the linesman was flagging and the ref consulted him before disallowing the goal.

However, swings and roundabouts, the pull on Hayes in the first half was a cast iron penalty.  The other shout was at the far end so hard to say how good a shout it was.

My biggest gripe with the ref was letting scything challenges go unbooked, yet couldn't wait to get his cards out for the minor offences.

Hassell deserved his booking but it came shortly after two horrid late challenges from Leeds players that went unpunished.

can't argue with that but not sure where the 2 mins came from in the first place. Not sure why it was disallowed either but was watching the ball rather than everything else that was going on. it certainly upset wise and poyet :pff

not only were they scything challenges the ref

just gave them warnings (if memory serves there was four warnings to Leeds players) but then a foul by bobby and yellow card straight out

    3rd goal

wasn't a corner in the first place, so justice was definitely done.

I thought he gave a goal kick, which would suggest the linesman said the ball was out of play after the corner was taken.

The ref was most certainly a homer, thank god the linesman had more sense

RE: I saw nowt wrong with Leeds's third

Harry Jnr, a Huddersfield fan, who always tells it as he sees it because he's been brought that way, said there was holding in the box. He was there with me and saw it so that's good enough for me!
