Well no, its not really, in fact the local was more quiet than usual.
Why do the police and media think that every one would go on a drinking bender from now till eternity. (dunno) .
They don't half fuse me ya know.
If I want to go on a 24 hour bender, then I will. Thing is, I don't really want to if its all the same. (youngen) Nanny state...Oh yes..

    Media Hype

Just got in from a new ales, nice dinner and lapdancing session, had a good binge drink, taxi driver thought I was a nice fella. What's the problem then?

    I blame the Daily Mail.

    and Mail On Sunday.

    papers for intellectual paupers

    Nanny State? (banghead)

So the drinking laws are relaxed but you call it a "nanny state"!

Things really kicked off in my local last night

when Matthew (the barman)rang for last orders at 10.50 as usual. "What about this all night drinking Matt?" screamed the assembled throng. "We did'nt bother" says he. For a split second the place seemed like it was about to erupt. Then the four of us shrugged our shoulders and said "Might as well go home then" "Aye" "Reight" The year 2005 is due to arrive in Skipton in approximately 20 years.
