Just Got Into Hallam University!!!!

Best feeling in world after spending last few weeks feeling nauseous as **** since interview. Anybody go there/been there? I'm doing BA Hons Primary Education.

 

I go there on a day release on wednesdays..

The student union is a good place to start off with, they have loads of stuff happening (They'll be flyers and posters plastered all over). Just pull some birds when you get there and let them take you round, tis a good night out has to be said.</p>

I've done a fair bit of lecturing there. (SPorts Development & Coaching). From what I've seen the courses are excellent- the tutors seem to go a long way out of there way to meke the student experience a good one. I'm sure you'll have a great time. I also know that the education courses are way over subscribed, so you must have done well to get on.

Yeah I heard that. i think there's about 300 got interviewed for 120 places. I think the fact I'm a bloke helped me get in due to a lack of male primary teachers. 4 people on my diploma course all applied for same course, my friend got rejected yesterday so it was kind of bitter sweet breaking news to her today. other 2 haven't heard owt yet.

Was it an automatic door, or did you have to actually push/pull? If it was automatic, then it must have been very easy to get into the place.

 

I did a PGCE in Secondary Science a while ago there.
The uni is building a very good reputation for producing good young teachers (apart from me).

Nice one, I go there, currently studying Law in 2nd year. The nightlife is fantastic, especially for live music!

 

He's right though. His course will be full of loads of

teenage girls. I bet he doesn't even want to be a teacher, the dirty Barsteward!
