Well done but I hope your not going into work on Monday, after running 10 k in a hour you need a weeks rest
I went for a non-competitive run today, my first for ages as it was lovely outside, and I ran 20.8km in 1hr 44. At which point my legs started to give way and I had to stop, but I was quite far from home without money, bus pass, etc. I went to lay on a park bench, prompting someone to come up and ask me 'if I was alright?' - then I sort of ran/walked/ran/walked home (mainly walked). Spent the afternoon having a bath and a nap. Funny how you seem to be going along just fine with running, and then it suddenly catches up with you. Anyway, well done for today.
Don't know how I will feel in the morning getting up for work. Btw between the 4 of us we have raised just short of a grand which is a amazing effort
Between me n ar lass we raised 30 odd quid for local businesses P. S. Very well done...I couldn't run more than a few minutes these days
I did it in 56 minutes 12, with slightly more training and slightly longer legs. First proper run I've ever done so quite happy with my time, and I walked a lot of the final 2k as I was struggling to breathe. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Managed to get round in 46.23 and finished 35th out of 377. The second climb up to High Hoyland did me. I can't run up hills.
I wasn't too bad until about 7k and then . I tried to keep up with my old school PE teacher, then realised he's considerably fitter than I am. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Yes that one was the worse one. A guy decided to tell me that at the 6km onwards into Cawthorne was the easiest bit but I couldn't feel my legs by that point
