lets face it we've made a right balls up of the whole affair

kept the manager when he should have gone at the end of last season
gave him money to spend on players this season and then under fan pressure sacked him as soon as his signings got here
left it so late that the transfer window closed meaning any new guy couldnt bring any new players in
sacked manager but kept his assistants on for another week taking coaching
announced to the world that we had only spoke to one guy for the job
announced press conferance and then had to cancel it because we hadn't actually completed the deal
brought in backroom staff and announced them but still havent brought in a manager to work with them.

    what a farce

Breckin - first person to be Caretaker manager at 2 different clubs in a week?

.... could only happen at Barnsley.

I wonder if he's the first assistant manager to be appointed before the manager!

The Goal Keeping coach Tracey is set to arrive with Robins tomorrow too, so i read earlier.

Totally cleaned there coaching staff from them.

Robins, Breckin, Daws, Taylor and Tracey.

    Ah well ... :D

    On point four...

Would you rather have left them to their own devices for a week?

It was a strange thing to do tho`. I would have thought Moore, Macken , Foster etc. could have run the training till the new guys were in place.
Leaving the others there only made it worse for the players, they knew as well as the coaches that they were going to get the push.

i'd have prefered to have left them to their own devices all season than have davey and his lot

If we were keeping the backroom staff until we had got a new guy in then we might as well have kept davey too.
