    Hmm, decisions, decisions...shall I support the petition....or not....tricky one.

    Dear all,

As you may, or not, know Leeds United were harshly treated at the beginning of this
season by having a 15 point deduction imposed by the Football league for supposedly
breaking regulations when the club came out of administration.
This despite already having a 10 point deduction at the end of the previous season.
In order to repeal this unjust penalty the club have taken this to the high court in
order to have this disgraceful penalty revoked.
As well as this legal action a petition has been put forward to the prime minister
asking him to intervene on our behalf.

I know that not all of you are Leeds fans but I'd like you to consider signing this
petition in the name of fair play.

Also if you know any Leeds fans not on this list then please pass this on so they
can register their own outrage at this calumny!

    With thanks

Can we set up a petition to have the penalty increased to 40 points?

That petition has been running for some time as the proposer reckoned the 15 point deduction would see them relegated to Division Two. If only....

    I'd respond saying

that they didn't "supposedly break regulations" - they ACTUALLY broke them!

And it wasn't harsh, unjust or disgraceful.....and the 15 point penalty was not "despite already having a 10 point penalty", it was BECAUSE they'd already had a 10 point penalty and still broke the rules for a SECOND time!

I'd reverse the 15 points deduction. 51 should do the trick.

I think they fact they where able to cheat out of a 10 point deduction last season was scandalous.

Then add to that that they went unpunished with the crowd scenes the day they went down at Bellend Road against Ipswich. That alone deserved a bigger punishment and they went unpunished for that.

We where threatened with a points deduction due a few spilling on to the pitch to celebrate a winner against Leeds at Oakwell. Cannot compare the two incidents and was a disgrace they went unpunished for that.

So for that I cannot feel sorry for a club whose big headed cocky fans got what they deserved.

Is there a petition we can sign

Calling for doubling the penalty for carrying on playing in direct contravention of league rules?
