5 months ago at work we were told we didn't have to go through selection as they had all the job losses covered through voluntary redundancy. Today we are told we have to go through selection as they are looking to lay off another 340!
Hope that you're not one of the 340. Best of luck to you and remember, try not to worry about it because whether you're made redundant or not worrying will make absolutely no difference to the outcome, it will only make you unhappy.
Hope it works out ok. We here are always one bad month away from closing the doors. It is really tough at the minute and we are fighting to keep going all the time.

Re: Horrible news Doesn't work that way Dreamy. Been with the company 10 years. They are shedding about a third of the employees in our section of the company......and then they can shift all the development work offshore to India. Thanks all for your comments
