    Half way round his ten mile sponsored walk. I'm a bit amazed that the school is making them do a 10 mile walk in this weather but I provided about 4 litres of water and a litre of ice.

    Well done so far, son.

    I sometimes wonder at schools, that's ridiculous.

    Make the kids suffer so we don't have to change our plans.

    Went to daughters sports day on Monday, Head says parents had to sit on the banking where there was no shade, said no-one could sit under the trees in the shade. Why, I have no idea?

    Course not.

    Went off under the trees and about a dozen others drifted over during the afternoon. Most however stayed in the baking hot sun, Heads are still scary to some!

    Quite right, we've always taken our newborns out to

    Ilkley Moor and left them there. Picked them up a couple of days later, never had a cough or a wheeeze in their lives.
