Just been speaking at length with GS who I have a lot of time for. Out of courtesy I wont be passing on any of the things he told me but I just wanted to let you all know that he has the same aims as we have which are to stay up and achieve financial stability for the club. I have to say that we are lucky to have GS in charge and he genuinely has the best interests of the club at heart (wait for the abuse to fly) Told him that we were gonna give Reidy a serious amount of praise and backup tommorrow along with the other lads and he was chuffed as he says the skipper is a great lad who wears his heart on his sleeve and will sweat blood for the cause. I feel we will be ok this season based on our chat as he is as focused on staying up as we are. Sorry that I cant say more but it would nt be right as it was a private chat. I did say (hopefully not out of turn) that the majority of fans back his running of the club as he is looking after our interests and trying to achieve without knacking the club up. BT
No concerns with GS, fully back both him and AR BUT I personally feel if we dont get a centre back or two in ASAP then regardless of what he says we will struggle this season. The football we are playing is good to watch, and the effort from the lads is beyond what I expected. I just feel Reid and Kay are not under enough pressure for there place and we need to act
I have always been of the opinion that GS and co would not let the club slip back easily, once the very difficult achievement of promotion had been attained.
They have a difficult balancing act to perform, and in the panic to get up the table to safety, it's easy to lose sight of the fact that we have to spend sensibly and choose players carefully.
I am fully behind them all, and feel confident that they will do all they can to not let us down in their efforts to survive this season and strengthen thereafter.

Completely agree, when it goes tits up on the pitch we dont have the strength in depth to change it. We basically have one pair of CB and if they struggle we cant juggle it around. We need players in if only to add depth and quality to what is a decent squad that is getting out thought by clever strikers and managers at this level. BT
only thing i am worried about is the lack of contract negotiations with the likes of howard and ritchie for that matter out of contract at the end of the season.
i hope he sorts them out in the near future.

RE: only thing i am worried about is the lack of contract negotiations Problem we have with Howard is that in the summer Im sure I read a article which stated he thought he was good enough for the premiership, and would prove that this season. Hopefully by Christmas we will be sitting down with them
