For Saturday. There is some big units in there. Going to be very physical game lots of balls into the box from all angles. Very worried about the outcome. Could be a blood bath if the midfield isn't switched on. Suspect the barnsley version of the wardrobe to start.
It's a strong, physical squad - but it's down to the bare bones, with lots of injuries and suspensions; O'Brien, Collison and Demel, the latest absentees. It could be a good time to play them after their recent mini-slump OR we may face a bit of a backlash. Let's hope we go there with the right gameplan and attitude and that it's the former, and we come away with a positive result.
Burnley and Reading arent 'big' physical sides, and they did for em. And as Matt says, they are a few players light since those defeats. We shall go there and football em to death, and they will take it/enjoy it, and we shall return to God's own with 3 valuable points. Thanks
difference between reading and west ham is west ham got to see just how poor we are at defending cross's and balls in the box after last week. Going to be quick high diagnal balls in the box very direct attempting to isolate the full backs with Nolan and noble picking up the second ball.
Henri Lansbury ran the game against us when he played for Norwich last year, looks like he's back after injury, be interested to see how Butterfield does against him, good benchmark I think.
They've got some big units and there'll be balls going into the box from all angles?! Blimey! I didn't realise Sol Campbell and Justin Fashanu played for them. Could be painful.
