who has managed to get 2 tickets when I won't get a chance till monday (Ipswich stubs), and he lives in London for christ's sake. Exactly how many of our tickets are going to non-Barnsley fans when there will be many true Reds supporters who won't get a ticket? Its a complete disgrace, Season Ticket Holders should be limited to 2, not 4.
Agreed, unfortunately it looks as if I'll be watching it at home. Wonder how many leeds/wednesday/united/huddersfield/doncaster/rotherham fans will be able to get tickets at the expense of Reds fans.
To true, it's disgraceful. No doubt next season the S.M.'s of this world will be complaining 'where are all those who went to Wembley?' when we're in front of 8,000 fans. The answer will be 'they're watching the teams they really support, or sitting at home knitting'.
RE: Buy a season ticket was about to put that myself Spartacus. You haven't put your money where your mouth is, you haven't shown loyalty to the club, so shut up for once.
RE: Buy a season ticket Given the probably thousands of pounds I've put BFC's way over the last 40 years then I think I'm entitled to a say. But hey-ho, lets get the Wendy fans and wives and girlfriends to Wembley for a one-off day out eh? That'll build up a fan base. Do you think my 10 year old will be botheredabout Scnuthorpe at home next season if he misses out on Wembley?
I'll tell thi what If you come and get my centenary membership card from me before tomorrows match you'll probably get two tickets on monday. genuine offer.
OK I see your point....but What credentials do you want people to show in order to obtain tickets? It's a football match and some people wanting to go have got tickets for it. There will be corporate seats, in the Club Wembley section, perhaps the Wendies got hold of these.
I really do not believe for one second anyone on here will miss out everyone must know a season ticket holder, anyone on here who has not got all 4 ordered would assist, we wont sell out to season ticket holders and all of those wont buy their full 4 allocation, there will be plenty available, it's just another chance for some morons to have a bit of a moan about the club, so what if fans of other clubs are going, ive been to wembley and cardiff with PNE for the play offs, didnt mean true pne fans were missing out, get real, make an effort to get a ticket, i am sure there will be plenty on here for example who would help out
I'm a season ticket holder and got tickets ... but I think that the club really got caught on the hop here. Some forward planning at the start of the season such as keepall your ticket stubs if your not a season ticket holder would seem fairly basic to me.
RE: I really do not believe for one second anyone on here will miss out I agree. Even if every season ticket holder took up their full allocation of 4 tickets (which I know for a fact they haven't) and also taking centinery members into account there should still be a good 3,000 or so tickets available for Ipswich stub holders and general sale. Given that our averrage crowd is around 10,000 I would say we need the casual fans to fill our allocation. Or would people rather that Barnsley's side of the ground be half empty??
Dates shown in brackets 1: season ticket holders who have held ticket since prior to promotion to championship= 2 tickets (20/21) 2: all other season ticket holders = 2 tickets (24) 3: centenary ticket holders (25 4: 10 barnsley match stubs (26) 5: 5 barnsley match stubs (27) 6: ipswich stub (28) people get tickets
I think the potential restriction on general sale may be the problem ... unless i have misunderstood.
