    Our son Christopher has got engaged to his girlfriend of three years Beth this evening. The Big Lils are a happy family tonight and the patriarch of the family is now going to consume a great deal of alcohol in celebration!:D

    Thanks, Ian. The two of them are coming on holiday with us to the Highlands. Beth's never been and Christopher's been telling her how beautiful it is.

    Cheers, Ian. They're on holiday in a cottage on the Yorkshire Wolds at the moment. Christopher's been planning this for months. Beth knew nothing about it until he got down on one knee in the restaurant tonight and proposed.
