would be outrage if he was axed - but rubbish im sure

But i would like to hear his thoughts on why he refuses to fetch anyone in! And i dont want to hear excuses and that "were trying". Rubbish.

Also

Why play Healey when by his own words "not ready".

Why sit back with 25 nmins left when he openkly claims we dont know how to play like that!

Why wont we get an experienced striker in - we were willing to risk going all out for Windass last season but 500K was too much for Chops! Look at him go now! Its been bandied about that Cardiff are going to struggle to keep him in January - i think they will but we knew what he could do! Why didnt we go in for him!????

someone on here said that ritchie had wednesday and plymouth games to sort it out. Anyone who saw interview after game could see his mind was somewhere else and he said "no words to describe wots happening to us" I no he'll be gutted but maybe to a greater extent than expected. I hope these rumours aren't true cos he's best manager since Wilson. Anyway...think positive...we'll beat Plymouth!!

I think that the whole reason of not being offered another/tied down is a key issue.

I do belive that Ritchie want's to bring in the players but the Cryne/Sheps of Barnsley are not helping Mr Ritchie with the funds neeeded,Mr Cryne seems too bothered about buying property and building house's and the money will go back into the club.....................yeah right.

What happened to the money from the gate reciepts from the semi's and final last season,Flinders money, and the Cryne statement we will bring in players to put bum's on seats.

I was expecting the likes of Chopra's etc.

Kinda with you on that Neil
They ain't very good for the club
AR is a great manager. We need stability and consolidation and ultwith a few morre players we could get that.
Now deep pockets, short arms and messing about we are about to drop back into the mire.
Result lower attendances, lower league football and the Glavin Estate just down McCarthy drive!

Thanks Casper someone who can see what's happening.Being from around Barnsley the jet petrol statiopn has now gone bought by................Mr Cryne remember the bottom of the car park to build house's well it will join on to the land where the petrol station used to be,in the interest of the club of course.lol.

I hope that this Ritchie thing is only a rumour, otherwise we will go down that path of another manager, another backroom setup, unstable and the players and fan's will be scratchin heads agian, will the other manager get transfer/loan funds if so why not give them to Ritchie now.

Last season on the verge of signing Windass £100,000/£120,000 mark nothing happened so that money rolled with the semi's and final and flinders........some how does not add up

The thing is I DO believe that could be true.

I think it would be ridiculous to get shut of him. Got us promoted against all odds last season, and this season again he has players who are punching above their weight. I know the results aren't yet coming, but the performances IMO are there. If Ritchie does go, a new manager will come in with different ideas. May not be able to motivate the current crop of players we have like AR can, therefore slippery-slidey-slope I reckon.

We were brill against Shitfield yesterday, they were goddamn awful.

If that happens there will be a mutiney against the board by right thinking fans. There also be two less season tickets sold next season.

If PC has bought further land good he can build some houses sell them and both he and the council can be repaid the £1.5m loan that is owing to them from Oakwell Community Assets Limited

My Take On The Situation.

If we are in the bottom 3 at Xmas then Ritchie will Go,according to local press in Yorkshire, GS has CONSTANTLY asked Ritchie to bring in "Experienced" players into the squad, Remember GS is a lifelong Reds Fan .as well!!
Up to now because of the promotion last season Ritchie has had a strong hand to play, but both GS and PC have made it clear that there is money available to meet wages even for Premier league players to come to Barnsley and get bums on seats as well as consolidate us in the Championship
Ritchie so far has wanted it do his own way, but i will almost Guarentee that if we are struggling at X mas then Ritchie will be replaced.
PC and GS are more aware than any one can imagine what a return to League one would mean to Barnsley FC both financially and for the fan base.
In addition GS has also stated to a local journalist that he would like to think within the next 5 years we can again be strong contenders to be back in the Premiership, if that is not ambition then i dont know what is.

RE: My Take On The Situation.

If that's the case why are we not trying/going for the players.

Afterall we all know that this season was going to be hard but upto now we aer making just as harder for ourselves,we are playing good, but the same old thing come's up agian we need a striker who has been there and done that to put the ball away.

We create chances but how many before we get a goal?

What's there to "turn around"?

Weren't they expecting a struggle? I guess we are on target to stay up. Presumably, that is AR's remit.

Personally, I don't buy into this.
