    Brilliant player, brilliant man. A star who transcended international borders when it came to admiration and respect from sports' fans.
    On a more personal note, his kidney problems has brought our fears for Laura to the forefront of our thoughts again. Recently we've conveniently put them to the back of our minds as she's tried to make a life for herself at university and beyond. But when such a physically huge, fit, international sports star succumbs, it worries us when we think of our frail, fragile daughter.
