I have my serious head on today.

Please can I ask you to spare a few moments to brighten up the life of a youngster who has a serious illness by sending a message, by e.mail or letter, just to say hello?

    Thank you

PS. Not me, there are plenty of children who deserve a message more than me.

    hello, Laura,

I just sent an email to Jessica....

And I thought about you today, 'cos Lanzsar had a run and came third at Newcastle.

Remember the picture of that colt that we wanted to name after a Barnsley player? Well he is doing okay and he almost got up this afternoon. He showed a lot of guts today, and we can't ask much more than that. (I bet on him eachway and made a little quid)

Hope you are well and you have a good year at school... have you gone back yet?

    coom on you reds...

    Hello Mick,

Thank you for sending a message.

I remember the picture of the colt. Is he still as beautiful?

I enjoyed last year at school but had quite a bit of time off recovering from my operation and then my gran's illness/death.

I'm looking forward to starting back on the 6th September. Hopefully I will be able to settle down and not have to have time off sick. At least school are helpful and send work home for me so I don't fall behind.

Hope you and yours are keeping well.

    Hopefully.

I've been on holiday and recharged my batteries so I'm raring to start Yr 8.

Still a little upset that Scott left but Good Luck to him and hope the defeat the other day hasn't knocked his confidence. I'm sure he'll do well.

I'm also sure that Barnsley will do well and stay in this division (may just reach the top half) but we have to realise that they are a young squad and need positive criticism not negative to survive. I also think we need a bit of experience to balance the team and help them to survive.

I hope the colt continues to do well and makes you plenty of spare money so you can get over more often to watch the Reds.

At the moment life is looking good (fingers crossed).

Btt for those who missed it.

You may be down about today's result but there is more in life than football.

Please put a smile on someone's face.
