    Easy journey on the train. Loads of Barnsley fans about. Good friendly banter with locals Just about to jump on the ferry to the ground. . Happy days.

    I envy you Fiona! I love the city of Bristol, having had the chance to go there regularly during my 20 years or so living in Gloucester. Despite the down sides (just like everywhere else in the world) it is a magnificent city and a great place to be on the opening day of the season.

    I hope the majority of the travellers are as close to the ground as you are, but I fear many will be stuck in the jams.
