Van Homoet Played Superbly today. I thought he was rubbish when he first came into the side but he's improved gradually while he's been with us and now looks like a decent full back. Great cross for the third, especially after been clattered by that thug Thatcher.
very strange although you can't knock him for the way he got up to produce the cross for mackens goal, we'd been saying that he's prob one of the worst full backs we've seen at oakwell for years. can't pass, can't tackle and gets hopelessly lost. bobby's rightful position.
I agree bobbys rightful position but u gtta admit van homet is a hell of alot better than when he came and correction he isnt a 'full back'
Van Homo had a decent game as did Hassell. (right back he aint) Bobby is a good footballer, somewhat slow, good positional sense, good header and more importantly better in CM than anyone we have currently fit enough. All in all a good squad utility player. When say Da Silva is fit, I expect him to be a stand in at need. He has definately grown into the CM role.Had an excellent game vs Chelsea, lest you forget, and played a key part today.
You're Having a laugh! He had a great game. If you don't think so i do believe that you don't fully understand the beautiful game.
full backs are center backs technically speaking we plays right back (or left) which ever he gets plonked in....
