    Really?
Why would there be any Brits in North Korea?

Do they live under the same restrictions as other North Korea's?

When I was working in Glasgow a week or two ago a colleague brought a bloke along to dinner who worked for another customer in the city. He was off on holiday, about now I think, to China and North Korea!. Wonder if he's changed his plans.

Just doing a bit of looking around on this and seen this. ''The number of Chinese tourists visiting North Korea has fallen 70 percent from 2010 to 2011. One Chinese travel agency cited the limited number of packages and restrictions on where foreign tourists can travel as the main reasons for the lack of interest. Only the capital Pyongyang and Mt. Kumgang are available on Chinese itineraries''

Do the Chinese think there going to there equivalent of the costa del sol were they'll be able to find all the home treats in a sunny location?

According to the Tourism in North Korea Wiki page 3000/4000 Western visitors go every year.

yeah, this guy said as much - foreign visitors are only allowed to visit certain restaurants for example. Presumably, the ones that charge western prices.

I think it'd be interesting to see for oneself how day-to-day life is in such a different culture, rather than just through media reports (I often rail against the media so I see no reason to take everything it says about North Korea at face value).

'You are living in the free world, in the free world you must stay.'"

I'd love to spend a few days in North Korea, I find the place fascinating to be honest.

Watch some documentaries on it Hemsworth, a lot of the people don't even know they are being oppressed so it leads to some strange behaviour from the population where the Kim family has god-like status.

No one should go there on holiday and give any kind of legitimacy to that regime. Think its a bit sick to be honest - lets go and look at North Koreans slowing being starvied to death and brutalised by random acts of state violence, it would be a bit like visiting the Warsaw Ghetto in 1942.
