Just looking at some posts from last season about our strikers...

There were so many people complaining about our poor finishing costing us. Why do so many people think it will be so different this season?

 

I was one of them

Richards can't finish for toffee, and almost single handedly cost us a play-off place. His form in the last dozen league games was terrible. However he did ok in the play-offs, and hopefully will pick up where he left off.

Nah he can't finish for toffee...... Missed them sitters against Forest, and never had a goalscoring streak!!!

Even the best of strikers go into double figures for games without a goal... I'll be more worried when he's not getting the chances.

But he's had a lot more poor games than good ones. All I'm saying is that he missed so many easy chances that it's worrying

I still think we'll struggle, I still think I'll be cursing Richards and Hayes for missing chances I thought they could put away ... but that doesn't mean I bleat Young Nudger style about the situation.

I get sick of typing it and I'm sure Ritchie gets sick of saying, but we have to have the right players. If these wonderful strikers were all readily available don't you think it'd be easy.

We need a striker and everyone knows that, and Ritchie is looking to loan one from a Premiership club.
