    Hassell is the best option in that holding midfield role at present. He has a better engine than Johnson.

    We did. He's called Hugo Colace. With De Silva also still injured, we have both our preferred defensive midfield options missing. We can't keep buying player after player for the same position. A short term loan signing is the most Davey could have done in the circumstances.
