Response from one fan to another who disagreed with a poster who thought that we struggled to contain them and they were on top for most of the match....

"Exactly, could not agree more, also other than the twenty minutes were we had them under the cosh, they were positive, quick, attack minded, never a backward step a pleasure to watch. A million miles away from the negative boring dross we have to put up with ! Oh and by the way simon when they were under the cosh, they toughed it out, got hold of the ball and got back in control, all without defending deeper and deeper as the pressure builds.
A lesson to be learned for Mr Grayson, but we already know he does not learn.
Personally I cannot see where the next goal is coming from, never mind a win !!"

Used to be us talking about the opposition like that and not the other way round.

    HT and YN take note!!:)

    He's got it spot on.

We were dominant for the first 40 minutes. They had a spell at the end of the first half, and a good 20/25 minutes at the start of the 2nd.

The outlet was always there for us to counter attack. When their attack broke down, we countered in numbers. This could have been our downfall because we gave the ball away far too much, but at least we were having a go. Trying to wrestle control back.

Eventually it paid off. After the goal, we resumed control and could have gone on to score 2 or 3 more without response.

A more potent attacking threat could have made us pay at the weekend and it certainly highlighted a couple of weaknesses in our side. But we had a game plan, stuck to it and it paid off.
