Why do some of our fans drink or abuse other substances before the game, to the point that they are incoherent morons who can't find they're seats, so try to nick someone else's and when that fails stand with their idiotic buddies about 3 to a seat blocking everybody elses view. Then they argue with and abuse perfectly reasonable stewards politely asking them to move also try and intimidate any of our fans objecting to their moronic behaviour. I had a pint myself in the fan zone before the game so I'm not anti drink, but why drink yourself into a stupor before the game. Oh and by the way the whole lot of em were that interested in the football that they missed the equaliser cause they were getting even more pissed up or stoned or whatever. They weren't all youths either the worst one was in his forties at least. Absolute muppets the lot of em
As we were going up the ramp towards the turnstiles there was one idiot who was so drunk his mate was having to help him walk. Can't imagine why anyone would get themselves into such state.
This all thing about fans standing needs addressing and acting upon . Fans stood in front of us and others ,elderly and children alike, had no respect whatsoever. Kids stood on seats and still couldn't see ,some elderly and a little infirm had no chance of seeing what was happening ,and the most galling thing of all is they were on the front row with no restrictions from them. And any requests to consider others both politely and then in one case threatingly were acted upon with abuse and indifference.. Absolute utter and complete morons. One of the excuses or should I say retorts given was we're getting behind them. Well what about the two women with four kids who couldn't see and couldn't lift their upset little ones up together to see. I've heard people that watch Man utd etc have given up on a away days for that reason. Looks like the football and order authorities have given up on the fair minded supporter and given in to bell ends.
I did say nearly, it couldn't take the gloss off yesterday nothing could. But these morons need to grow up having a couple of pints is one thing getting yourself into the state they were and interfering with other people's enjoyment is out of order and we shouldn't excuse it or tolerate it.
These idiots weren't in a fit state to converse with they were out of their trees with either drink, drugs or both. Doubt they even remember they were at Wembley and some were definitely old enough to know better.
I wondered how some of our fans would even get in to the game. Carrying bags full of cans with an hour to go to kick off. One guy was carrying a 24 pack. That must have taken some drinking.
Compared to the Oxford fans our lot certainly like a drink, being the designated driver was certainly an eye opener. I bet the landlords were gutted they got the Oxford pubs. That was some scene outside St. Joseph's WMC!
It's not the case that fans that had a good drink ( and in some cases a really good soaking) were all bad at all but it didn't make them bell ends and still respected others a D indeed were up for a good laugh about the state they had gotten into.infact some if them were absolutely brilliant with the kids who thought it was funny as anything seeing their antics. But a bell end is a bell end drunk or not.
Got to feel sorry for the staff of that Tesco! Qing out the door for hours having to served pissed fans haha
Aye, they had it organised though, stocking up non stop. Much more room on that green than in the Green Man pub or the WMC.
Agree completely, idiots behind and in front of us, who weren't restrained in any way in shouting about 'southern w****kers' and 'F**ing lovely personnts' throughout the match with the pissheads in front standing up, simulating oral sex in front of my two teenage girls and not taking any interest in the game whatsoever. Makes me sound like a real prude this post but when you are with your infirm 65 year old parents, your kids and your wife, I felt like I was the one who shouldn't have been there because of THEIR behaviour. It feels like I'm the odd one out for having a bit of respect and responsibility for other people. And it seems to be every away game these days - and I go to nearly EVERY away game!
Speak to SLO : theres nowt wrong with a few pre match pints but we are getting to the stage where some of the "lice" that have attached themselves to the club especially away games need a hash sharp lesson is manners, respect and life
One of the reasons I stopped going away was because of the general loutish behaviour of some of our 'fans' an standing of others,
