Is it Davey who has missed penalties?

Is it Davey who has missed open nets?

Is it Davey who hasn't finished demoralised teams off?

Is it Davey who has let a 30 yard shot slip through his fingers into the net?

Is it Davey who has given away soft goal; time and time again...

Swansea away. Norwich at home. Birmingham home. Sheffield United away. Watford away. Southampton, home and away. Charlton home. I could go on, and on, and on.

If professional footballers, who are earning THOUSANDS of pounds per week, can't do the job that they are paid handsomely to do sufficiently, then they shouldn't be playing. Fair enough, he can take some of the blame for bringing in some of these inept players, but once those 11 MEN cross the line, it's on them to earn their crust, and flipping EARN their crust. The players need a big kick up the arse, and maybe Simon isn't the man to do that, but he CANNOT take sole blame for the position in which we lie.

If we'd have nailed that penalty against Norwich - that's 2 extra points.

Open net against Southampton that Hume missed - 2 extra points.

0-2 up against Swansea away, and the PLAYERS sit back and let Scotland run riot - 2 extra points.

Dominated against Southampton at home -should've won - 2 extra points.

Charlton at home - dominated, just - should've won - 2 extra points.

Birmingham at home - 1-0 up with 3 minutes to go - SHOULD have been professional enough to see that fecking match OUT!

Watford away - come on, same again - bad defending/goalkeeping has cost us again. - 2 points dropped.

That's 14 extra points that we SHOULD have had.

We haven't played bad football all season, save the odd match or two - how many of you would've been blaming Davey if we'd have been 10th after this match? Hmmm Hmmm?

How many of you blamed Davey after the Liverpool and Chelsea matches?

Get a grip. Those players out and that pitch are STEALING a wage. If you or I made the same number of errors that they do in our jobs, we'd have been sacked LONG ago.

It's not good enough and It's NOT entirely Davey's fault. It's the overpaid, overrated, overvalued drama queens that take to the field week in, week out. Bring back the likes of Thommo and Redders and Davis and Watto. Show em' how it's really done.

Bunch of feckers. *not you, them*...

    Anyways, beer time...

RE: Dominated v Charlton at home?

You didn't see the same match I did, we had about one chance in the whole match and it was us timewasting in the last 10 minutes not them.
We are where we are ENTIRELY thanks to Davey and his negative tactics.

    Spot on

When we win the players get praised, so by the same token when we lose they should be criticised.

It's not his fault Muller fecked up today. Yes he picked him, but not much he can do once Muller steps on the pitch. Davey can't be liable for individual errors.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't a Davey substitute make a big difference today? I doubt that one will get pointed out by many

    Ah...

but the staff member would soon get the sack. The point is, the players should be delivering and although the buck stops at Davey, he is being let down quite badly.

    Well said mate.

Fair enough, Simon DOES have to take some of the blame, but he also HAS to take a lot of credit. I still think a lot of supporters are living in the Premiership years - that was a one off - it's going to take time and luck* to get back their, just as it did back then. Until then, we just have to take the rough with the smooth, like always. That's what being a Barnsley fan is all about.

*Unless we get an Indian billionnaire that is...
