why the hell he put robbie williams in midfield against sheff wed. i havent seen a explanation anywhere as was just wondering like.

just to add i think we would have lost that game no matter who (from avaidable) he had put there as they were just too good for us really.

They were just too good for us?

no they weren't, we gave them all 3 goals, we were awful and they just capitalised on our schoolboy errors, if we had played half as well as we have in some of our other games, and not defended like 11 year olds we could have got summat from the game.

To answer your question, I don't think he's explained it at all and doubt he will. If the chairman is anything to go by, supporters can't ask those sort of questions, we know f*ck all about the club/game

    he explained

working with RW in training he is hard working willing to learn and SD & RK don't think he's a fullback-they see him as a midfielder and RW wants to play there-SD looks forward to working with him for the rest of the season-it wasn't one players fault that we lost-there were 11 on the pitch-he didn't sleep for 3 nights after the defeat

    quality

they don't see him as a full back, they see him as a midfielder.

I like that one, really I do

Burnley created more and better chances than Wednesday ,

    they just missed them all.

We were equally as poor against both Burnley and Wednesday.

If you had gone to supporters meeting on tuesday 9/1/07 you would have got to know the explanation regards Williams playing in midfield along with a lot of other answers to questions that people on this board are always complaining about!!!!Too many so called Football experts on this board always complaining about team tactics, signings, and the board. But when given the chance to question the management team etc can`t be bothered to turn up at meetings. Just a few months ago Sheppard, Cryne gave up there time to turn up at a supporters meeting at the Dale Tavern to answer all questions put to them, but as usual most of the moaners on here were no where to be seen, all i can say to those so called supporters of Barnsley FC is get behind the staff and players and get to know the facts from the people who saved this club from closing!!!!!

whats wrong with that? Hes certainly not a fullback.

He's not a midfielder either, but he's probably closer to a midfielder than a fullback.

Its not possible for all of us to go to meetings though

I would love to go to supporters meetings - but a 450mile round trip on a Tuesday night just doesnt work

Not a criticism of the club just a comment but why not record the meeting and make availlable or a transcript availlable via Barnsley World or similar then it would be easier for more fans to get the information

    So

To be a proper fan you've got to attend supporters club meetings now too. Crikey, I'll never make it to proper fan status, it's just too hard.

Oh I am sure I can think of some excuses

I need to fork out some cash if the transcript is for members only :)

Wonder if you can get a reduced rate if you are a distance member :D

Good to know that members who cant get to meetings can get the info though I might even consider joining
