If your £300 ST would have been for instance £550-600 would you have renewed?

Ridiculous question. Don't you usually get things cheaper when you buy in bulk instead of more expensive. And no.

Just gauging opions regards todays news. I'd reckon once the 6-8 A* Cat games are factored in and the increases to pay on the day and watch every game will mean the 'day' fan will be paying (not quite but closeish) double. Taking into condideration no 'offers' like 'friend for a fiver' etc?!? Ruff maths like. But just interested to know if those who can/do attend every home game would renew if same rules/increases applied to ST holders. All 'hyperthetical like but just wondered.

Whos said they will be no offers? The club could still do offers even for cat a games as far as I'm aware. They won't be 6-8 cat a* games. The club will be in contact with other clubs and charge their away support similar to what we will be charged hence why they are releasing prices every 5 games. Leeds Wednesday and Newcastle could be a*

I'd be surprised if you even see one A* game never mind 6-8. It's obviously there in case we can't negotiate the pricing down with the retrospective clubs.

There will be offers. Nailed on.

Not unless we feel we're being absolutely forced in to it. And if we are I bet the club put that particular game in as a dual ticket with another game for £50 or something.

Villa sets the pricing ceiling for me and I'd expect another 6-8 games tops to be in the same bracket. So over the course of the season the increase costs to the pay on the day fan will be minimal vs. last year. Lunacy to announce the £38 price bracket but I can kind of see it from a business sense.

I'm not sure it's a ridiculous question. I've seen far worse.

btw not sure you can buy season tickets in bulk. And I bet you don't get a discount.

Plus if everyone said on here "Yes I'd buy a season ticket for £600" then guess what the price'd be next season?

Patrick, if you're reading, NOBODY would buy a season ticket for any more than you're offering them now!

Maybe cat A* will be used for cup games if a big boy rolls into town? Or are they just league prices?

In reply to the original question, probably not.

Do you have a season ticket? By buying one you are buying a number of games IN BULK therefor getting a discount over the season. I got mine for 300 and daughters free which I thought was resonably.

I do have a season ticket.

The fact that it works out cheaper to watch games this way does not make the O.P.'s question ridiculous.

Single ticket prices are soaring. If season ticket prices also soared, then everyone would be up in arms about that too.

And a question testing the price of a season ticket holder's loyalty seem to me to be a valid one.
