    Enjoy it matey

my eldest son is a qualified Referee and he enjoys it. He gets some abuse , but he has learned to take it.
If you get too much hassle then just stop the game and talk to both managers , telling them that you will abandon the match and report them both to the FA.

    Congrats and a question...

If a defender takes a throw in back to the goalkeeper and it goes into the net without touching anybody, what do you give? Is it a corner?

And if the attacker did the same, is it a goal kick?

    Been bugging me!

    easy...peasy

corner, in the case of the defender, and a goal kick if it is a player from the same team. Only the the goalkeeper can score direct from a a throw.
Trust me I used to be a ref.
