Woman at the BFC told me that the ticket office doesnt take take phone calls on match days? What the hells going on???? YES I will be attending the match this afternoon but NO i dont want to queue with people that are buying tickets for todays match when they can pay at the bloody gate! This and the Chesterfield away debacle, amongst other **** ups proves that the club is only interested in the fans that attend home matches. I appreciate that they dont gain financially from travelling fans except for coach travel, cup games and booking fees but surely they could have someone answering phone calls on match days. Whats it going to cost them? £40 in wages? Rant over!(furious)
Wouldnt cost them any extra People will presumably be sat in the ticket office now but just dont want to/been told not to answer the phone because it is a matchday.
Don't the club make something like 5% of all tickets sold for away games if booked at oakwell. It might not be much but its money that we cant afford to turn down.
I can understand them saying that they wont answer the phone between 1pm and 3pm on a matchday but up until that time theres absolutly no reason why they cant take bookings. For all they know you could be wanting to book 100 tickets for this afternoons game and need to ring up now to check that you'll get 100 tickets together. But still if the club don't want two grand then so be it.

Basically, people buy for todays match at the box office :- - because it's not convenient to get tickets in advance - you can pay on your card - you get a better seat.
I accept that but surely theres a better way of doing things. Perhaps keep a window seperate for those buying away tickets this afternoon.
well if you are not wating to que when were you going to pick the tickets up? you could just phone another day and get them to post you them?
