But if we get off to a very poor start and Davey got the sack, would you take Neil Warnock as manager?

Yes, but I'm backing Davey. Hopefully he and his team will sort it.
He has to. The Board have backed him in all his signings, it's up to him now to turn it around.
No good hoofing it up when you have a 'fox in the box' in Mossto.

It looks like it could be a slow start.

However I am bored of sacking managers so we may as well stick with Davey.

I am sure he has a plan , not sure what it is myself as yesterday we looked clueless all over the pitch.

Being serious for a minute Nudge,

what was the point in signing what I can only guess is a footballing centre forward in Mossto , yet seemingly have tactic where we boot as high and as long as possible everytime?

I really want him to succeed Tina and he talks a good game + works hard.

However, I am extremely concerned about our defence. He has had pre season to sort it out and we have conceded throughout. The ease with which their goals game was embarrassing - all things that could be worked on in the training ground.

Furthermore, we look pretty impotent upfront - not the best of combinations!

After the game again Wigan I was very optimistic,

however yesterday was a right kick in the nuts.

We created next to nothing , yet looked like we would concede everytime they came forward.

I only hope that this new goalie is the 2nd coming of Peter Schmeichel.

After signing Mossto , why didnt we sign a couple of midfielders who can pass?

I agree with all that you say Chef Tyke

I feel very down today about yesterday's result and very jealous of Blackpool and Scunny and Colchester.

I try to be positive and felt better yesterday than I do today - that might have been the few beers I had.

I hope and pray they can get it sorted, because all Davey's signings have been massive gambles and not all will succeed.

I've got me rosary beads out already lol

On the up side....Kay looked like he could be a real handful. Istvan was winning nothing up front and that was putting the whole team under a whole lot of pressure in my opinion. Kay and Miguel to start and the new keeper might have a bit more presence in the box, having said that I thought Nick played well yesterday, first goal aside.

Reid simply isn't good enough, commanding centre back required. Still.

I feel awful saying this about Reid as I admire him as a person and also his committment to our club, but he wasn't good enough last year and he isn't this year and the thought that Davey is messing about with the back line just to accommodate him makes me very worried.

He's not good enough full stop

Me too, his attitude is first class.

But he's not good enough, harsh but true.
